Seks işçilerinin; deneyimin çeşitliliğini, toplumsal cinsiyeti, cinsellikleri, sınıf ve ırkçılığı göz önünde bulunduran karmaşık tasvirlerini görmek istiyoruz.
Gerçek seks işçilerinden filmler ve hikayeler, etik olarak üretilmiş belgeseller istiyoruz.
Bizi konu edinmek istedikleri sürece, işbirliği içerisinde olan medya ve film endüstrisinin bunu yakın zamanda gerçekleştirmeyeceği çok açık.

The London Sex worker Film festıval aims to show movies and documentaries made by and about sex workers that will show the diversity and complexity of the sex industry and fight agaınst our stigmatisation.

SEX WORKER OPEN UNIVERSITY (UK 2009) Dir. Ellie Gurney, 10m44s, Digital - Sex
workers are routinely portrayed in the media as victims. At London’s first ever Sex Worker Open University in 2009, over two hundred sex workers and allies from the UK
and abroad took part in workshops, discussions and actions. This film
presents an alternative and empowered image of the sex worker.

ker. We want to support our lovers to continue unlearning the internalized stigma against sex workers, especially in intimate relationships. We think that sex workers themselves have valuable advice and direction to give to people who get into intimate relationships with us. This is the direct me
ssage we want to give to our lovers: "We hope that this video is useful to you in your journey to becoming a sex worker-positive and supportive lover and person in the community!!! By continuing to work on your attitudes about our work and educating yourself, you are showing us that you care. We love you!"
PECAH LOBANG ( MALAYSIA 2008 ) Dir. Poh Sı Teng, 30 mn DVD. Kuala Lumpur Freedom Film Festival winner.Pecah Lobang which means “busted,” explores what it’s like to be a Muslim transsexual sex worker in Malaysia. Shot in the Chow Kit red light district, the documentary revolves around Natasha, a Muslim Mak Nyah, who refuses to live life as a man. Unable to secure employment because of discrimination, Natasha turns to sex work and lives in constant fear of the police and religious authorities. Crossdressing is a crime under Syariah law for Muslims and the penalties are severe. But it wasn’t always enforced in Malaysia. How did the country become so heavy-handed on the transsexual community? A religious scholar, a physician who conducted sex change surgeries, a sociologist, three attorneys and an outreach worker explain how it all came to be.
Followed by discussion with film maker Clare Havell, and Sex Worker Open University co-founder Luca Darkholme on the themes of sex workers´ rights movement ın the U.K and how sex workers´ rights movement intersects with LGBT struggles.
If time allows, we will end the session by a critical viewıng of the latest video campaign by the Women European Lobby to ‘ End Prostitution ın Europe’ and analyses the way it portrays sex workers.
